Monday, Dec 19 2011 at 8:22 am - This is a rare large-format original 1938 lithograph, hand-painted using a pochoir process, of various Native American scenes: The center left image shows a Kiowa and his wife camping after hunting. The couple then noticed an enemy attempting to steal their child from the tipi. The husband commanded the wife to attack the kidnapper. She killed the Pawnee man with a hatchet.
