Sunday, Nov 6 2011 at 12:00 pm - This is an original 1883 chromolithograph of two examples of Japanese fabric designs using the popular motif of the fan. The borders are printed with a gold ink which doesn not show up well on our digital capture. Therefore, we have provided another digital image, which captures more of the gold ink, but does not capture the rich black background--please see both images.
