Monday, Nov 7 2011 at 9:09 pm - This is an original 1883 chromolithograph of a beautiful Japanese lacquered box lid. The surrounding border is printed with gold ink which, unfortunately, does not show up well in our digital capture, appearing dull brown. Period Paper has obtained an exquisite collection of Japanese art prints and art plates (including color prints; halftone prints; heliogravures; and chromolithographs).
