1883 Ofuku Demon Hokusai Kekemono Setsu-bun Japanese - Original Chromolithograph
Thursday, Nov 10 2011 at 9:07 pm - This is an original 1883 chromolithograph illustrating a Japanese legend -- Ofuku throwing beans at a demon -- taken from a kakemono, or scroll painting, by Katsushika Hokusai. Period Paper has obtained an exquisite collection of Japanese art prints and art plates (including color prints; halftone prints; heliogravures; and chromolithographs).
